Global star Olly Murs and Sam Preston of The Ordinary Boys are kicking off the holiday season with their brand new single “Christmas Starts Tonight,” a festive rework of Murs’ fun-time track “Run This Town,” which appeared on his stunning new album ‘Knees Up’ that charted at number five in the UK Album Chart last week. Murs explained that the song’s journey was “maddest,” starting as a demo that never quite found its moment, only to be reimagined as a Yuletide anthem after he performed it on Strictly Come Dancing. Sam Preston added that the song, born from the bones of “Run This Town,” has been “finally been granted a new life as a Yuletide anthem, a small seasonal miracle, really.” Following an incredible summer tour run and a blistering performance at Radio 2 In The Park, Murs will return to London for a very special intimate show at the O2 Forum Kentish Town on December 8th.
