Country’s hottest rising star Tucker Wetmore closes out his blockbuster year with the release of the new track, “Proving Me Right,” marking his first new music since his record-breaking debut album, ‘What Not To’. Built on a mellow groove and laid-back confidence, the track finds Wetmore with a clear-eyed resolve as he watches an ex repeating patterns, underscoring the sharp, reflective writing that continues to set him apart. The song was written by Wetmore, Jessie Jo Dillon, Luke Laird, and Chris Tompkins, capturing the kind of soul-scouring balladry that has made him a fan favorite.
The release arrives as Wetmore’s momentum reaches new heights: his Country radio single “3,2,1” has officially cracked the Top 5 on the Country airplay charts, putting him on pace for his second No. 1 this year. The single is off his critically acclaimed debut album, ‘What Not To’, which made history as the biggest country album debut from a new artist in 2025. Adding to his banner year, Wetmore was just tapped as a performer for “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026,” airing live on ABC.
Wetmore also recently announced his headlining The Brunette World Tour, launching this February with dates across the U.S., UK, and EU. He will be joined by special guests Dasha, Carter Faith, and Jacob Hackworth for select dates, with limited tickets available. This tour follows his first Grand Ole Opry appearance and his performance at the CMA Awards, where he was a first-time nominee.
