The Infamous Stringdusters have just released their carefree, mid-tempo new single, “Dancing On The Moon,” offering the fourth exciting preview of their forthcoming album, ’20/20′. This ground-breaking, Grammy Award-winning ensemble continues to fearlessly push the boundaries of modern bluegrass, following the success of their previous single, “Dead Man Walking,” which was named one of Billboard’s 5 Best New Country Songs. Lyrically, “Dancing On The Moon” is a euphoric declaration, tapping into a sense of emotional escape and celebrating a new connection, with vocalist and fiddle player Jeremy Garrett noting that the co-written track is simply “a light hearted song about falling in love.”
The album ’20/20′ arrives on February 13th, celebrating 20 years since the band’s inception with twenty brand new songs that meld acoustic majesty with a full-blown rock show attitude. Formed in Nashville in the early 2000s, the group—composed of Chris Pandolfi, Travis Book, Jeremy Garrett, Andy Hall, and Andy Falco—happily exemplifies sonic exploration and endless curiosity while maintaining a deep respect for musical tradition. The band will continue an aggressive touring schedule across the U.S. throughout the new year, delivering their unique blend of bluegrass, Americana, country, and indie-folk to stages across the country.
