The inspiration for “Do You Feel The Same” came from a personal experience Russ had with his divorced parents while visiting New York City, where their relationship began. Listening to his father remember the past, Russ ended up creating the song from his father’s point of view on the day of his parents’ engagement anniversary without even realizing it.
