ALANIS MORISSETTE Unveils Soulful “Ave Maria” for Annual Holiday Tradition

Alanis Morissette has released a tender new recording of “Ave Maria,” continuing her cherished annual tradition of seasonal covers. Originally composed by Franz Schubert, the legendary devotional piece is reimagined through Morissette’s signature emotive lens, following her previous holiday offerings such as “Happy Xmas (War is Over),” “Last Christmas,” and “O Holy Night.” This 2025 release serves as a serene moment of reflection before the singer-songwriter gears up for a massive summer 2026 tour across the U.K. and Ireland. Kicking off in Cork on June 24th, the tour will see Morissette performing at iconic heritage sites and festivals, including Blenheim Palace and London’s Crystal Palace Park, bringing her storied catalog to some of the region’s most scenic outdoor venues.
