The sophisticated wit of Joe Jackson returns to the global stage with his brilliant new single “Welcome to Burning-By-Sea.” This track serves as the first taste of his upcoming studio album ‘Hope and Fury’ which arrives on April 10, 2026, through earMUSIC. Jackson recorded the project between Berlin and New York while reuniting with his longtime band members Graham Maby, Teddy Kumpel, and Doug Yowell along with percussionist Paulo Stagnaro and co-producer Patrick Dillett. The new music captures the sharp observational storytelling that fans love by sketching a fictional seaside town that mirrors the contradictions of modern life. This release marks his first full-length studio effort since 2019 and promises a dynamic sound that bridges the gap between his most iconic eras.
To support the launch of ‘Hope and Fury,’ the legendary musician will embark on a massive world tour covering 80 shows across 14 countries. The North American leg kicks off this May and visits historic venues like the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and the Beacon Theatre in New York City. Following the summer run, Jackson heads to Europe in September for an extensive series of performances through December including stops at the London Palladium and L’Olympia in Paris. Fans can enjoy the new material on high-quality 180g gatefold vinyl and digisleeve CD as Jackson brings his unique blend of pop, jazz, and rock influences to audiences around the world.
