Krooked Tongue Rev Up “Drugstore Cowboy” Ahead Of ‘I Know A Place’

Krooked Tongue announce their debut studio album ‘I Know A Place,’ set for limited edition vinyl release on April 24, 2026, and share the new single “Drugstore Cowboy” alongside a self-shot music video. Recorded and produced with Josh Gallop at Stage 2 Studios in Bath, the track opens the album cycle at full throttle, pairing fuzz-heavy guitars, driving drums, and chant-ready vocals with lyrics centered on impulse, consequence, and self-awareness. The band’s recent run of singles has drawn support across editorial playlists, radio, and live sports and wrestling broadcasts, cementing steady momentum ahead of the album’s arrival.

“Drugstore Cowboy” takes inspiration from 1980s cinema and Americana imagery, a direction reflected in the video filmed by guitarist Dan Smith across Bristol on a zero-budget approach. Shot in car parks, cinemas, arcades, and city streets, the video leans into cinematic references and hands-on creativity, shaped entirely by the band. ‘I Know A Place’ arrives as a full-length statement following singles including “Marigold,” “Let ’Em Loose,” “Ember Mile,” “Nothing Ever Grows,” “Dog Days,” and “You Don’t Need A Sun Tan,” all recorded during the same sessions.
