Seahaven are marking 15 years of their debut album ‘Winter Forever’, a release that helped define a formative era of modern emo and alternative rock. Originally released in 2011 via Run For Cover Records, the album blended atmospheric guitars, raw emotional weight, and introspective songwriting, quickly resonating with listeners drawn to its cinematic pacing and vulnerability. Songs like “Black & White,” “Save Me,” and “PV” became touchstones, bridging post-hardcore intensity with indie-rock restraint and earning the band a deeply loyal following.
In the years since, Seahaven continued to evolve, expanding their sonic language on ‘Reverie Lagoon: Music for Escapism Only’ before returning with ‘Halo of Hurt’, each release reflecting a band unafraid to grow while staying emotionally direct. Fifteen years on, ‘Winter Forever’ remains a defining statement, its emotional weight and influence continuing to connect across generations of emo and alternative fans.
