Massachusetts based Dream Fatigue releases new single “Be Your Anchor” via DAZE, capturing dream-like aggression with soulful pocket through bright emotional vocals enhanced by groove-driven drums and swirling riffs. The band hailing from the mind of drummer Matt Wood formerly of Fleshwater teaming with vocalist Jonali McFadden came to fruition in 2024 with debut album ‘the lady in the sky,’ now entering its next era with a track boasting sonic influence from bands like Hum and Incubus while maintaining originality throughout. The empowering anthem features McFadden’s confidently delivered chorus “sway, play, this life is your song/stay, dream, there’s nothing wrong” that builds on the beautiful grittiness established on their debut, infusing emo pop, grunge and alternative rock into something distinct and necessary. Dream Fatigue plays January 18th in Boston at The Sinclair alongside Glare, Holder and All Under Heaven with more music and touring expected throughout 2026.
