Providence-based artist Chase Greene releases his debut album ‘I Hope You Know,’ stepping into the pop and hip-hop conversation with a project that feels lived in rather than assembled for momentum. The record opens with “Press (I Hope You Know),” blending pop immediacy with hip-hop cadence and fleeting Latin accents, before pulling back on “Stay Home” where atmosphere does more of the work. Throughout the album, production stays sharp and intentional, with tracks like “Tajin Rim” leaning into darker, seductive tension while Greene’s vocal phrasing stretches and shifts across loose, almost improvised structures grounded in present-day hip-hop sensibilities. Greene says the album has been his lover, partner, and friend for the past year, putting in relentless time and energy, and now he’s ready to perform and share it with people.
