Ladytron Shares “Caught In The Blink Of An Eye” Before Launching ‘Paradises’ Tour

UK electronic pop icons Ladytron return with the high-energy single “Caught in the Blink of an Eye” ahead of their eighth studio album, ‘Paradises’, arriving March 20, 2026, via Nettwerk. This latest release serves as a bridge between the group’s classic synth-pop roots and a new, dance-oriented direction. The accompanying music video, filmed in São Paulo, Brazil, and directed by Daniel Hunt, documents the aesthetic shift of the project. This record follows an intense five-month recording process that spanned several global locations including Liverpool and London.

The 16-track album features production by Daniel Hunt and mixing from longtime collaborator and Grammy winner Jim Abbiss. The sonic profile of the new material highlights a move toward tech-noir, disco, and early house influences. Members Helen Marnie and Mira Aroyo utilized sessions at Dean Street Studios in Soho to develop these specific arrangements. Following the March release, the band brings their new live show to North America for a series of headlining dates starting in late May.

The precision of the electronic layering and the clarity of the vocal production create an atmosphere of immense scale. This album marks a significant technical evolution for a group that has shaped the genre for over twenty years. Every arrangement reflects a deliberate focus on movement and rhythmic intensity.
