Burgeoning alt-pop singer-songwriter and producer Erin LeCount has released her sensational new single “I Believe” today via Atlantic Records. Alongside the single comes a new live performance video of “I Believe” taken from LeCount’s recent sold-out headline show at London’s KOKO, shot and edited by long-time collaborators Sam Taylor-Edwards and Kit Dale, who both worked on the music videos for “808 Hymn” and “Machine Ghost.” LeCount teased the release of “I Believe” on social media and played it live during her emphatic sold-out La Lune Tour, which took place at the end of 2025. The track follows the release of her two recent singles “808 Hymn” and “Machine Ghost,” both released in late 2025.

On “I Believe,” LeCount demonstrates why she stands as one of the most acclaimed and exciting new artists to emerge onto the scene, with an artist vision that remains unfalteringly and unmistakably her own. The track’s expansive production, created entirely by LeCount, couples with her hauntingly beautiful vocals and lyrics. “I Believe” falls between art-pop and baroque-pop, signifying the lofty trajectory LeCount has in store for her already impressive career. Speaking about the single, LeCount said, “‘I BELIEVE’ is a cynical, existential song about apathy, passiveness in your own life, disillusionment with the state of the world, what it feels like to turning to every possible external source to tell you how to feel and exist – religion, self help books, magazines, astrology, lovers, antidepressants. I wrote it about a pursuit of perfection, faith and meaning soundtracked to relentless synth pop production.”

In December 2025, LeCount embarked upon her sensational UK and IE La Lune Tour, playing to sold-out crowds in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, and London. In February 2026, LeCount takes the La Lune Tour to North America, with cities including a sold-out show in Toronto on February 7, along with New York and Los Angeles. The original North American tour sold out within weeks, and due to popular demand extra dates have been added. The 22-year-old self-taught artist and producer serves as a visionary sonic architect and the sole writer and producer of her music, with a sound that ranges from luscious baroque-pop arrangements to alluring gothic-pop. Her diaristic lyrics and captivating synths offer an enchanting interplay of vulnerability and power, exploring themes from identity to relationships and the meaning of life. LeCount’s influences include Fiona Apple, Kate Bush, Lorde, Imogen Heap, Charli xcx, and Sampha, and she recently attended Paris Fashion Week shows including Ann Demeulemeester and MUGLER.
