Multifaceted talent Grace Annabella Anderson releases her illuminating single “Time To Let You Go,” a moment of clarity and renewal capturing the quiet power of choosing freedom, softness, and forward motion after upheaval. Built on airy textures, restrained instrumentation, and Anderson’s intimate vocal delivery, it captures release without dramatization as the latest offering from her forthcoming debut album ‘Art, Baby’, arriving February 6. Anderson shares: “‘Time To Let You Go’ feels like driving down a winding coastal highway with all of the windows down. The willowy, semi-submerged vocals in the chorus surround and illuminate the lyrics ‘time to let you go’ like flecks of sunlight, and the decision to move on feels clear, not weighted, not belabored, but freeing and natural. I wrote this song to usher in a new chapter and fresh start, decidedly putting uncertainty, conflict, and betrayal in the past and celebrating the vastness and abundance of life still ahead of me.” The song joins previously released singles “Love Potion,” “Take It Back,” “Halfway,” “Transgressor,” and title track “Art, Baby” from the 13-track record.
Produced at The Planetarium in Nashville with Thomas Dulin, ‘Art, Baby’ explores themes of nostalgia, disillusionment, and desire through poetic lyricism, confessional storytelling, and emotional reckoning. Drawing inspiration from artists like Lizzy McAlpine, Faye Webster, and Joni Mitchell, Anderson evokes similar emotional resonance in her writing and delivery. Her lyrics, informed by her background as a published poet with work featured in Mistake House Magazine, Applause Literary Journal, New Croton Review, and NYU’s West 10th where she received the Editor’s Award in Poetry, exist at the intersection of literature and sound. Beyond music, Anderson has made her mark in fashion, walking for Lanyu Couture and Sandriver Cashmere during New York Fashion Week SS26 and appearing in Lost Pattern’s “Oasis” collection, China Institute Fashion Night, and Alexis Levan’s collection for New York Bridal Fashion Week. For the recording of ‘Art, Baby’, Anderson was joined by Nate Dugger on guitar, Ian Miller on piano, Brent Milligan on bass guitar, and Tim Buell on drums, with Jake Hartsfield mixing and Joe Causey at Voyager Mastering handling mastering.
