Warren Haynes Shares “I’ll Be The One” From Re-Mixed ‘Tales Of Ordinary Madness’ Arriving January 30

GRAMMY Award-winning vocalist, songwriter, guitar legend, and Gov’t Mule frontman Warren Haynes releases “I’ll Be The One,” the latest single from the re-mixed and re-mastered version of his debut solo studio album ‘Tales of Ordinary Madness’, arriving January 30 via Megaforce Records. The expanded 12-track edition includes one bonus song not included on the original, produced by Chuck Leavell and co-produced by Haynes, re-mixed by Jim Scott at Plyrz Studios, and re-mastered by Greg Calbi and Steve Fallone at Sterling Sound. When ‘Tales of Ordinary Madness’ first arrived in March 1993, Warren Haynes, then a full-time member of The Allman Brothers Band, introduced himself as a solo artist with a collection balancing soulful songwriting and powerful guitar work against rock, blues, and soul. Rolling Stone called it “a powerful solo debut,” while AllMusic singled out Haynes’ vocal performance as the project’s lasting impact. Haynes supports the release with his Winter of Warren 2026 Tour, beginning in February with a rare, intimate solo run featuring stripped-down, two-set evenings where it’s just Warren and his guitar exploring every corner of his catalog, mixing hits and deep cuts with the music that shaped his sound. The 11-date solo tour includes a standout engagement at the new Blue Note Los Angeles on February 17 and 18 with two shows per night, followed by Warren Haynes Band dates from March 1-7 including a newly announced appearance at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester as part of the venue’s 100th anniversary celebrations. Gov’t Mule, fresh off their 50th performance at NYC’s Beacon Theatre on New Year’s Eve, play spring headlining dates starting March 27 in Denver, then head out this summer for co-headlining shows with Joe Bonamassa from July 29 through August 16.
