Father John Misty has announced an expansion of his 2026 international headlining tour, adding a new round of summer dates across the Midwestern United States and Canada. The singer-songwriter continues to tour in support of his sixth studio album, ‘Mahashmashana’, which was released in late 2024 to critical acclaim for its ambitious orchestral arrangements and cynical lyrical wit. The newly added leg includes a highly anticipated return to St. Paul’s Palace Theatre on July 8, marking his first headlining appearance in the Twin Cities since 2022. Additionally, the tour will stop at the Winnetka Music Festival in June and feature three Canadian dates in Montréal, Quebec City, and Hamilton. This expansion follows a busy 2025 that saw the release of the live favorite “The Old Law” and a best-of compilation, further solidifying Tillman’s status as one of indie rock’s most provocative figures.

The 2026 routing is characterized by intimate theater settings and major festival appearances, beginning with a West Coast run in March that includes two-night stands at San Francisco’s Castro Theatre and Seattle’s Paramount Theatre. Supporting acts for the tour vary by region, with Andy Shauf joining for the San Francisco dates, David Vandervelde appearing on several Western US stops, and Damien Jurado serving as the special guest for the Seattle performances. The European leg of the tour will take place throughout June, featuring sets at Primavera Sound in Barcelona and the NorthSide Festival in Denmark. Following the overseas run, Father John Misty returns to North America for the newly announced summer shows, including a headline play at GLC Live at 20 Monroe in Grand Rapids. Fans can access a presale for the new dates starting today, January 14, at 10:00 am local time using the password HONEYBEAR, with general ticket sales beginning Friday, January 16.
