Fort Worth nu-gazers Trauma Ray have announced a massive co-headline tour across the United States with Glixen. The extensive run includes support from Her New Knife, KNIFEPLAY, Keep, and Money on select dates. The announcement arrives alongside the release of Trauma Ray’s new single “Hannibal” and their forthcoming EP ‘Carnival’, which drops on February 20th via Dais Records.
The tour kicks off April 10th in San Antonio at Paper Tiger and winds through major cities including Houston, New Orleans, Orlando, Atlanta, and Asheville before hitting the East Coast. Brooklyn’s Elsewhere Hall, Boston’s The Sinclair, and stops in Montréal and Toronto round out the northern leg.
The Midwest and West Coast portion launches in Chicago at Bottom Lounge on April 28th. Minneapolis, Lawrence, Denver, and Salt Lake City follow before the tour hits the Pacific Northwest with shows in Boise, Seattle, and Portland. California gets three dates including San Francisco’s The Chapel, Los Angeles’ Teragram Ballroom, and San Diego’s Soda Bar.
The tour wraps with a Southwest swing through Phoenix, Albuquerque, Austin, and a Dallas homecoming show at Trees on May 16th. Support lineups vary throughout the run, giving fans different combinations of shoegaze and post-punk sounds each night.
