Fred again.. launches 2026 with “scared,” a powerful new collaboration with Young Thug. The track marks Fred’s first release of the year and the latest chapter in his ever-evolving ‘USB002’ album. “scared” lands with emotional weight and rhythmic precision, continuing Fred’s run of deeply human electronic music that connects instantly and completely.
The release arrives as Fred continues his USB002 residency, transforming East End Studios into a living, breathing creative space. The residency also hosts the ‘Boris Acket – Secret Life Exhibition,’ built around an immersive installation soundtracked by Fred’s ambient collaboration with Brian Eno. The USB project remains a bold, constantly moving body of work, already featuring collaborators from across electronic, punk, rap, and jazz scenes, all feeding into one shared musical universe.
