atmosphere that emerges from the human spirit free of technological control. Created by Loren Luck and April Love, the record was written during the pandemic and centers on human connection, creative independence, imperfection, and stepping back from digital saturation. Built on live analog synths, Moog instrumentation, and harmonic vocals, the album continues the project’s synthesis of synthgaze, darkwave, and electro-punk.
“This is an action-packed, cinematic, entertaining and soulful electro-dance record,” says April Love, describing a body of work shaped by isolation, nature, and self-reflection. Loren Luck adds that much of the album was written in physical and creative isolation, focusing on reclaiming a sense of humanity through sound and environment. ‘Humaura’ was recorded, mixed, and mastered digitally by Be Hussey and mastered for vinyl by Nicholas Townsend. Across its track sequence, the album traces themes of detachment, intimacy, liberation, and self-definition through a cohesive dark electro-pop framework.
