Eidola return with their searing new standalone single “Purity Ladder,” arriving just ahead of their Eviscerate/Mend tour kickoff on February 22. The track marks their first release via 3DOT Recordings and arrives with a companion video that amplifies its stark, imposing atmosphere. Angular riffs and towering weight define the sound, capturing a restless modern pulse.
“This song was written as a snapshot of modern time to convey a deeply haunting sense of brutalism,” says vocalist Andrew Michael Wells. “Society consumes, regurgitates, vomits up lies, and distorts reality. Welcome to the ‘Purity Ladder.’” The song confronts modernity head-on, asking listeners to examine what they value most and where the current path leads.
The band launches The Eviscerate/Mend Tour with a five-week run across the U.S., celebrating their companion albums Eviscerate and Mend. In Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Chicago, fans will experience special two-night performances, with each album performed in full on separate evenings. Supporting the tour are Nerv and Astronoid. Tickets are on sale now.
