Lana Del Rey Unveils “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter” From ‘Stove’

Lana Del Rey has released “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter,” a new song from her forthcoming album ‘Stove.’ The track was written by Del Rey alongside her husband Jeremy Dufrene, sister Chuck Grant, and brother-in-law Jason Pickens, with production by longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff. The song adds another striking chapter to Del Rey’s cinematic catalog.

Del Rey first announced “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter” on February 7 via Instagram Stories, calling it her “favorite song” on the record and revealing that a music video had already been completed. The track carries her signature atmosphere, layered with intimate lyricism and a slow-burning sense of drama that unfolds line by line.

As for the album’s arrival, Del Rey shared that ‘Stove’ should land “soon,” explaining, “’Cause vinyl takes three months, so three months plus two weeks. It could be, give or take, a bit less than that.” The rollout reflects a careful, hands-on process shaped around physical production timelines.

The project has undergone several evolutions. Originally titled Lasso and slated for September 2024, it was later renamed The Right Person Will Stay with a May 21, 2025 release date. In August 2025, Del Rey shifted plans once more, moving the album to January 2026 and retitling it ‘Stove.’ With a new single now in the world, anticipation continues to build.
