The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival expands its 2026 Calgary lineup with the addition of acclaimed comedian Bill Burr as the Saturday evening headliner at Prince’s Island Park. Known for sharp, unfiltered observations and fearless stage presence, Burr brings decades of sold-out tours, acclaimed specials and film and television credits to one of North America’s premier outdoor comedy events.
The Calgary weekend runs August 28 through 30, transforming Prince’s Island Park into a multi-day celebration of stand-up. Individual show tickets go on sale Friday at 10:00 a.m. MST, with limited three-day passes currently available for fans who want the full weekend experience.
Friday, August 28 kicks off with Matt Rife & Friends. Saturday afternoon features Jeff Arcuri and Caitlin Peluffo before Burr headlines the evening. Sunday afternoon brings a co-headline set from Matteo Lane and Tig Notaro, joined by special guest Bob the Drag Queen, with a Sunday evening act still to be announced.
With a lineup that balances established headliners and rising voices, the 2026 Calgary edition of the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival continues to position itself as a must-attend summer event for live comedy fans.
