Metal singer and songwriter Chloe Trujillo has released the video for “Lies”, the latest single from her independent EP ‘Rebirth’. The haunting, sonically heavy track blends Middle Eastern influences with crushing guitars as Trujillo explores themes of letting go of ego, limiting beliefs, and old identities in order to reveal a deeper personal truth.
Directed by Raubtier Productions with producer Alejandro Ordonez, the video captures a ritualistic atmosphere around a fire and features dancers Baac Garcia and M Baaker. “Lies” follows the EP’s earlier single “As the Sky is Falling Down”, another emotionally charged track from the Paris-born, Los Angeles-based artist, who worked with producer Jake Carmona to bring the four-song EP ‘Rebirth’ to life.
