UK electronic producer Fred again.. releases ‘USB002 Remixes‘, a new eight-track project reshaping material from the second chapter of his evolving USB series. The record gathers a wide circle of collaborators who rework recent tracks into fresh club-driven forms, including the standout single “OK OK (Hamdi remix)”.

The album pulls in artists who shared stages with Fred during the latest run of shows, including Skream & Benga, HAAi, Hamdi, Oppidan and Lou Nour. Producers connected to earlier USB releases also step in, with KETTAMA and Lil Silva adding their own interpretations. Brazilian artist MC Dricka appears on a reimagined version of “Facilita”, delivering new vocals that push the track into bold new territory.

The release arrives after a landmark series of shows at Alexandra Palace in London. The fourth and final night delivered a moment few expected, a surprise back-to-back set between Fred again.. and Thomas Bangalter. It marked Bangalter’s second live appearance in nearly twenty years and quickly became one of the most talked-about moments of the run.

The week also spotlighted deep roots in UK dance music. Dubstep pioneers Skream & Benga, Coki and Mala joined forces with Flowdan, D Double E, JME and Duurty Goodz for a heavyweight showcase. The night closed with a rare appearance from La Roux, performing the Skream rework of “In For The Kill”. The room erupted. The moment landed as a reminder of the scene’s enduring power.

The USB project continues to evolve as one of the most fluid release concepts in modern electronic music. The series launched in 2022 with tracks including “Rumble” with Skrillex and Flowdan, “Baby Again”, “Jungle”, and collaborations with Baby Keem and Lil Yachty. The second chapter expanded in 2024 with global shows and new singles, now culminating in the arrival of ‘USB002 Remixes’.
