Indie-Folk Songwriter Luke James Williams Unveils “Full Moon” From Upcoming Album ‘Limes Hotel’

Cambridgeshire indie-folk singer-songwriter Luke James Williams returns with the new single “Full Moon,” the latest preview from his upcoming album ‘Limes Hotel,’ arriving April 17, 2026. The atmospheric track continues Williams’ rise in modern British folk, pairing intimate songwriting with sparse, cinematic instrumentation.

“Full Moon” unfolds as a cautionary tale about greed and obsession, building toward a haunting finale that echoes the drama of classic art-pop. “Full Moon is about the dangers of not knowing where to stop in our pursuit of what we want,” Williams explains. “Gluttony can lead people to do very stupid things that put themselves and others in grave danger. The hunter becomes the hunted in this part fable, part cautionary tale.”

The single arrives with a striking video directed by UK filmmaker Matthew Oaten, featuring two ballet dancers moving through London’s Barbican in a tense pursuit. Oaten describes the visual concept as a physical expression of desire and competition, capturing the song’s sense of chase and consequence. The result is a vivid companion piece that deepens the song’s atmosphere.
