Goldenvoice has announced Head Trip, a one-time-only two-night electronic music event at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA on October 10 and 11. One stage, no overlapping sets, two nights of some of the most compelling names in electronic music assembled in one place. Production is designed by Romain Pissenem, founder and director of creative production company Head Scream. Passes go on sale Friday, March 13 at 11am PT at headtripindio.com.
Saturday, October 10 features Calvin Harris, Fisher B2B Chris Lake Under Construction, Peggy Gou B2B Four Tet, and Seth Troxler B2B Ben Sterling. Sunday, October 11 brings Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, Dom Dolla B2B Kettama, The Blessed Madonna, and DJ Harvey. Floating Points hosts the Sunflower Sound System across the full weekend.
The Sunflower Sound System marks its US debut at Head Trip, and it is worth the spotlight. Housed inside a dome tent acoustically treated with mycelium-based paneling and decorated with tapestries and original artwork commissioned by DJ and artist Josephine Chime, the installation features 10 unique speaker stacks designed and assembled by Floating Points for a fully immersive listening experience. Several special guests will join throughout the weekend.
