Country Metal Rockers Cody Parks And The Dirty South Sign Big Deal, Drop “Snake Shaker”

Cody Parks And The Dirty South have a new home. The Nashville-based Country Metal outfit has officially signed to Frontiers Music Group via BLKIIBLK, and they are marking the moment with the release of their new single, “Snake Shaker.” The track is out now, and it delivers exactly what the name promises.

Parks is direct about what the signing means: “I’m beyond excited and blessed to be a part of the BLKIIBLK/Frontiers family. Having a team that is aligned with my vision for Country Metal makes this the perfect home for my music.” The deal brings him into a roster alongside industry veterans Jeff Stevenson, Tom Lipsky, and Bob Chiappardi.

“Snake Shaker” is the band doing what they do best. Heavy guitars, Southern grit, and stories pulled straight from the edges of American life. Parks describes it as “a textbook example of our brand,” rooted in his original mission to make heavy metal music that tells Southern stories most acts wouldn’t touch. The track is a hard-hitting reminder of why this band has built such a devoted following.

That following grew fast. “Thunder Cash ’69,” from their 2023 covers EP ‘Smothered & Covered,’ topped the iTunes Rock chart in three countries and hit number three on Billboard’s Rock Digital Song Sales chart. Cody Parks And The Dirty South are not a band waiting for permission. They built Country Metal from the ground up, drawing from Metallica, Ratt, and Pantera while keeping country storytelling at the core.

With a new label, a sharp new single, and a reputation for relentless live energy, this chapter is just getting started.
