The Wallflowers are taking a defining album back on the road. The band will celebrate the 30th anniversary of ‘Bringing Down the Horse’ with a massive North American and European tour, performing the record in full alongside a second full-album set of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ ‘Long After Dark’.
This is a deep dive into a catalog that still carries weight. ‘Bringing Down the Horse’ moved more than four million copies and delivered enduring singles like “6th Avenue Heartache” and “One Headlight.” These songs remain central to the band’s identity, and they return here in full, front to back.
Jakob Dylan frames the tour as something intentional. “Coming back after such a long time, we wanted to do something special for the 30th anniversary of Bringing Down the Horse,” he says. “We decided to play what seems to be our fans’ favorite Wallflowers album, and for us, we wanted to play one of our favorite Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers records, Long After Dark.”
The added tribute set brings another layer. Revisiting ‘Long After Dark’ positions the tour as both celebration and influence, connecting The Wallflowers’ sound to one of their foundational inspirations. It adds depth to a run already built on legacy.
The schedule stretches across the U.S., Canada and Europe, with stops in Chicago, Nashville, Toronto, London and beyond. This is a full-scale anniversary run that places one of alt rock’s most enduring records back where it belongs, onstage.
