Lolo Zouaï returns with her most personal and fully realized music yet. The Forbes 30 Under 30 artist and songwriter announces her third studio album ‘Reverie,’ due April 24 via Because Music, alongside new single and video “Holding On,” a deeply felt track about the tension between grief and the desire to move forward. Filmed in Lacanau, France and directed by Alex Acy, the video is a love letter to friendship, written in the wake of losing her best friend Hanna in 2021.

That loss sits at the heart of ‘Reverie.’ Lolo took years to pause, grieve, write, and rediscover the meaning behind her music, and the album reflects every moment of that journey. Production moves fluidly through alternative R&B, hip-hop, pop, and Arabic influences, creating dark, sensual, cinematic textures, while Lolo sings equally in French and English, threading her Algerian roots, Parisian upbringing, and San Francisco adolescence into something that feels genuinely unlike anything else in the current landscape.

The album features French-language collaborations with Dinos on “Les Mots,” Lous and the Yakuza on “Lemon Squeeze,” and Disiz on “Coquelicot,” alongside the previously praised lead single “3AM in San Francisco,” which earned coverage from Rolling Stone and The FADER for its effortless fusion of airy vocals and punchy trap production. Beyond her own releases, Lolo’s songwriting credits include NewJeans’ “Right Now” and tracks on H.E.R.’s Grammy-winning self-titled album. With over 600 million streams, world tours supporting Dua Lipa and headline runs of her own, and fashion collaborations with Nike, Dior, Chanel, and YSL, she has built one of the more quietly essential profiles in modern music.
