Monsters Of Rock Cruise Returns To Hollywood With Tesla, Extreme, And Queensrÿche In 2027

The high seas are about to get a whole lot louder. Monsters of Rock Cruise sets sail for its fifteenth year in 2027, and the lineup reads like a hard rock fever dream. More than 45 acts. Three full days of sun and sea. One ship packed wall to wall with riffs.

The voyage departs May 6-11, 2027, from the Port of Los Angeles aboard Norwegian Joy®, with a stop in Ensenada, Mexico. Cabins start at $2,099 per person (double occupancy, excluding taxes and fees). General on-sale begins today (6/12) at 11:00 am PT/2:00 pm ET.

The headliners alone justify the booking. Tesla, Extreme, KK’s Priest, Sebastian Bach, Winger, Queensrÿche, and Y&T anchor a roster that runs deep into both legacy and new-school hard rock. Slaughter, L.A. Guns, Vixen, Faster Pussycat, and Armored Saint keep the Sunset Strip spirit alive, while H.E.A.T, Eclipse, Shiraz Lane, and Chez Kane bring serious melodic firepower from across the Atlantic.

The music is relentless, loud, and built for fans who never stopped believing in big choruses and bigger solos. Across multiple stages, the sound rarely lets up.

This is more than concerts. Attendees get artist Q&A sessions, photo experiences, and themed events all voyage long. Karaoke, “So You Think You Can Shred,” Cooking with Rock Stars, Rockstar Paint Classes, and Comedy Punchlines and Backlines round out the schedule. An optional pre-cruise party in the heart of Hollywood is planned for May 5th, with details to come.

The 2027 sailing brings back “Monsterwood,” MORC’s theme when it departs from Los Angeles. A blend of “Monsters” and “Hollywood,” the name marks the cruise’s West Coast return after more than a decade of Miami-to-Caribbean voyages. It’s a tribute to the Sunset Strip and the artists who built ’80s hard rock from the ground up.

For the third time, MORC takes over Norwegian Joy®, one of Norwegian Cruise Line’s flashiest ships. There’s a two-level onboard racetrack (the first of its kind at sea), a 180-degree Observation Lounge, specialty dining from Q Texas Smokehouse to Cagney’s Steakhouse, and décor inspired by legendary music venues.

When the ship docks in Ensenada, fans can swap stage lights for street tacos, cold cervezas, and waterfront strolls. Nearby attractions include La Bufadora and the Valle de Guadalupe wine country, a chance to recharge before another round of late-night rock mayhem.

MORC has carried over 30,000 passengers across fourteen years, setting the standard for themed music cruises. For booking and full details, visit MonstersofRockCruise.com.
