Released in 1970, the Jackson 5’s “ABC” knocked the Beatles’ “Let It Be” off the top of the Billboard Hot 100. With over 4 million copies sold worldwide, it became a Motown classic. Its catchy, alphabet-inspired lyrics and electric energy helped cement the group’s status as a pop powerhouse. Inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2016, “ABC” still swings like the first day of school.
