Celebrated, Grammy-nominated artist Hayes Carll will make his debut appearance on CBS Saturday Morning this Saturday, August 23rd. Carll and his band will perform three songs from his critically acclaimed new album We’re Only Human (released August 8th via Hwy 87/Thirty Tigers).
Carll will kick of an extensive headlining tour in support of We’re Only Human on September 4th in his hometown of Houston, TX, with dates that run through November (see full list of dates below). Carll will perform in Nashville on September 11th as part of the 2025 AmericanaFest, and he will also be a presenter at the Americana Honors & Awards at the Ryman Auditorium on September 10th.
Throughout Hayes Carll’s career he has crafted songs filled clever character narratives and sage perspectives while looking outward. On We’re Only Human he looks deeply inward for the most introspective and personal work he has created. His songs brim with pensive lyrics, grit and, of course, just the right touch of sardonic wit.
We’re Only Human remains in the Top 5 on both the Americana Album and Singles charts. The album has garnered unanimous praise from the press, including Rolling Stone, NPR Music, No Depression, American Songwriter, Magnet Magazine, Glide Magazine, Holler, Saving Country Music, Chorus.fm, Americana Highways, Twangville and so many more.
