The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation is turning up the volume for its 40th Annual Induction Ceremony, revealing an expanded lineup of music legends and cultural icons who will help celebrate this year’s honorees. The ceremony takes place November 8 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and will stream live coast to coast on Disney+ at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT, with a primetime ABC special set for January 1, 2026, and next-day streaming on Hulu.
Newly announced guests include Avril Lavigne, Bryan Adams, Janelle Monáe, Donald Glover, En Vogue, Feist, Gina Schock, Hurby Luv Bug Azor, Jerry Cantrell, Jim Carrey, Joe Perry, The Killers, Lisa Coleman, Mick Fleetwood, Mike McCready, Nancy Wilson, Nathaniel Rateliff, and the Tedeschi Trucks Band. They’ll join an already dazzling lineup featuring Beck, Brandi Carlile, David Letterman, Doja Cat, Elton John, Flea, Iggy Pop, J.I.D., Killer Mike, Maxwell, Missy Elliott, Olivia Rodrigo, Questlove, Raye, Sleepy Brown, Taylor Momsen, Teddy Swims, and Twenty One Pilots.
This year’s Inductees include Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, Soundgarden, and The White Stripes in the Performer category. Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon will be honored for Musical Influence, Thom Bell, Nicky Hopkins, and Carol Kaye for Musical Excellence, and Lenny Waronker will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
Leading up to the big night, the celebration will continue on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars with a special “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night” episode on November 4. Fans can also explore the 2025 Inductee Exhibit, opening October 31, featuring artifacts such as Cyndi Lauper’s handwritten lyrics to “Time After Time,” the iconic outfits worn by Meg White and Jack White on Icky Thump, a 1979 Gibson Les Paul used by Chris Cornell, and Andre 3000’s unforgettable “Hey Ya” costume from Outkast’s music video.
With a lineup that bridges generations, genres, and geographies, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 40th celebration is shaping up to be a once-in-a-generation event honoring the artists who continue to shape the sound and spirit of music.
