Press Release: Sweden’s First Official Drag Queen Calendar Launched

Sweden’s first official Drag Queen Calendar has now been released. Twelve of the country’s most iconic drag performers are featured across all months of 2026 in a series of exclusive portraits, styled by Peter Englund and photographed by Anna Vinterfall. The project is led by Nina Saving at Konstexpo. The launch was highlighted on TV4’s Nyhetsmorgon this Sunday, where Vanity Vain – who graces the calendar cover – also appeared.

The Swedish Drag Queen Calendar is now available for purchase and has already generated significant interest. Bringing together twelve of the nation’s leading drag artists, the calendar is an artistic project celebrating the expression, humour, and power of drag.

Among the featured performers is Vanity Vain, whose rock’n’roll aesthetics and magnetic charisma made her one of the most talked-about contestants on Drag Race Sverige. Following her third-place finish – and her win as “Drag of the Year” at the QX Gala – she went on to appear on RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars, where her stage presence quickly gained international attention. The calendar also includes Drag Race winner Admira and the beloved Swedish icon Babsan.

This is an explosion of colour, expression, and individuality – an art project where drag is given the space it deserves, says project manager Nina Saving. Peter Englund created the twelve specially designed styling concepts that give the calendar its strong visual identity. On Sunday, Vinterfall, Englund, and Vanity Vain appeared on TV4’s Nyhetsmorgon to discuss the work behind the calendar and its cultural significance.

The calendar is printed in A3 format on exclusive satin paper and designed with a colourful, collectible finish. It is sold for 399 SEK including VAT via Imaginzone.

The Rainbow Foundation, which receives 10 percent of the profits, highlights the calendar’s impact.

When you buy a Drag Queen Calendar, you not only get the most beautiful calendar of the year – you also support The Rainbow Foundation´s work for the rights of LGBTQI people. As anti-LGBTQI propaganda continues to grow around the world, it is more important than ever that we join forces and do what we can. The calendar is a fantastic initiative – and the perfect Christmas gift! says Embla Kullberg, Secretary General of The Rainbow Foundation.

Fans who want an even closer connection to their favourite performers can purchase signed and numbered high-quality fine art prints of each participating drag queen via Imaginzone.com and QX Shop. Each print is individually numbered and hand-signed by the artist, printed on exclusive fine art cotton paper with a shimmering finish, exceptional colour reproduction, and a lifespan of over 100 years. Available with or without frame. The limited edition makes each poster a valuable collector’s item.

Ten percent of profits are donated to The Rainbow Foundation.
