Irish Bluegrass band JigJam has released their long awaited single, “Shake These Dreams Awake,” which is available everywhere out now via Singular and Gokuhi. Fans have eagerly awaited the single since the band previewed it live on tour, prompting an enthusiastic response from audiences. Written by Bob Halligan Jr. and JigJam’s own Jamie McKeogh and Daithi Melia, “Shake These Dreams Awake” beautifully captures the lingering pull of a past relationship and the strong desire to give it another try.
Frontman Jamie McKeogh confirmed the audience demand, saying, “We’ve been playing this song live for a bit now, and there is always such a strong crowd reaction, so we’re glad to finally put this one out there as a single.” The single follows a busy North American summer tour and is a preview of the band’s forthcoming studio album. The band is currently recording this new project at Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Studio in Nashville, an honor extended personally by Brown himself. The new music, which is being produced by Joe Egan, is set to feature a spectacular lineup of guest artists, including Lindsay Lou, Sister Sadie, Johnny Mullenax, and Rob Ickes.
