Breakout vocalist and songwriter Lauren Spencer Smith is sharing magnificent holiday cheer with the release of her brand new seasonal song, “Last First Christmas.” This exciting release precedes her much anticipated performance at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, November 27. The new track comes hot on the heels of the release of Spencer Smith’s critically acclaimed sophomore album, ‘THE ART OF BEING A MESS’, which dropped earlier this year. She also just wrapped the European, UK, Australia, and New Zealand legs of her tour, demonstrating her massive global reach and growing fanbase.
Adding to the holiday excitement, a Hallmark movie was created based off her previous song, “Single On The 25th,” which will release on December 7th at 8pm ET and will stream the next day on Hallmark+. From a small town on Vancouver Island, Spencer Smith began her musical journey in 2019, quickly gaining a sizeable audience online by exploring breakups, complex feelings about school, family, and friends through her heartfelt music. In February 2026, she will set out on a huge 32 date North American headline tour with stops planned in major cities including New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Austin. Spencer Smith has already performed at the MTV Video Music Awards, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and the People’s Choice Awards, where she was also a Best New Artist nominee.
