Hard rock quintet Nerve Star prepares to shake the foundation of the heavy metal scene with the late February release of their debut album ‘WHITE HOT’. This powerhouse collection features a thunderous blend of seventies hard rock and NWOBHM energy driven by the dual lead guitar attack of Chris Billinghurst and Swedish producer Janne Stark. The lineup reached its full potential after bringing in vocalist Matt Oakman and drummer Peter Svensson to create a sound reminiscent of the legendary Thin Lizzy style. These sessions took place across international borders as the band tracked thirteen unrelenting songs at Raw Studios in England and Stark’s own facilities in Sweden.
The upcoming record receives a massive boost from guest guitarist Tony Bourge who provides his legendary riff master skills to the epic closing track “Richard III”. Known for his work with the Welsh band Budgie and writing classics famously covered by Metallica and Van Halen, Bourge contributes his signature style to a song he originally recorded with the group Tredegar. This final track serves as a massive guitar showcase featuring all three lead players on one definitive anthem. Fans can look forward to ‘WHITE HOT’ arriving on vinyl, CD, and digital formats via RSK Entertainment followed by a string of UK gigs and European festival appearances later in 2026.
