Jamie O’Neal marks 25 years since her breakout run with a new chapter that feels grounded, reflective, and confidently rooted in classic country storytelling. The platinum-selling, four-time Grammy-nominated artist releases her sixth studio album ‘Gypsum’ on January 23, inspired by the wide-open beauty of White Sands National Park and shaped by her deep connection to the American West. The record captures the calm, space, and emotional clarity that comes from time, perspective, and lived experience.

Produced by O’Neal alongside her husband Rodney Good, ‘Gypsum’ brings together a close-knit group of Nashville songwriters and musicians, with Jamie co-writing six tracks and curating a set that balances intimacy and tradition. One of the album’s most meaningful moments comes from a song written by her late sister Samantha Murphy, adding another layer of personal history to a record already rich with memory and intention.

The album’s first single “Ole Heartache” is out now, a timeless country turn that leans into harmonica, classic phrasing, and a familiar ache that longtime fans will instantly recognize. Together with an updated version of “There Is No Arizona” and a carefully sequenced ten-song tracklist, ‘Gypsum’ stands as a thoughtful continuation of a career built on songs that last.
