Vince Gill marks a monumental half-century in the music industry with the announcement of his “50 Years From Home Tour” and a massive new recording project. To celebrate five decades of incredible musicianship, the 22-time Grammy winner signed a lifetime contract with MCA. This partnership results in a year-long EP series titled ’50 Years from Home’ with fresh music arriving every month. The latest installment, ‘Brown’s Diner Bar’, arrived on January 9 and continues the momentum of this ambitious collection.
The current series includes the previously released EPs ‘I Gave You Everything I Had’ and ‘Secondhand Smoke’. Each of these releases features six brand new tracks alongside a reimagined classic hit from his legendary catalog. This prolific output highlights a career that spans from his early days in Pure Prairie League to his current role with the Eagles. The music enthusiast finds this collection to be an absolute masterclass in songwriting and vocal performance. Gill continues to balance these solo efforts with his ongoing residency performances at the Sphere in Las Vegas.
The “50 Years From Home Tour” officially begins on June 18 at the Dr. Phillips Center in Orlando. This initial 14-market run heavily features the east coast and a significant stretch of dates across Florida. A major highlight of the summer schedule is a prestigious six-night residency at the Historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. These performances offer a rare opportunity to witness a Country Music Hall of Fame member in the most storied venue in bluegrass and country music history.
Tickets for the majority of these tour dates go on sale January 16. Specific markets follow a different schedule, with Battle Creek opening on January 17 and the Nashville residency dates available on January 23. Fans in Hershey, Schenectady, and Charleston can secure their seats on January 30. Every ticket provides a chance to see a musician who holds both a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award.
