Seattle-based artist AudioGust has released his third album, ‘Falling From Down’, alongside focus track “I Didn’t Hear What You Said.” The record leans into a hard-edged post-grunge and modern rock sound while preserving the melodic hooks and narrative depth that define the project. Led by Chris Evans, AudioGust balances raw intensity with strong songwriting, tracing themes of collapse, endurance, and the uneasy beauty found in survival.
“Falling From Down explores the struggles of modern life, from hitting rock bottom to finding small moments of hope and connection,” Evans explains. He describes the title as capturing “that feeling when you think things can’t possibly get worse, and then they do.” Across tracks like “Isotope,” the title song, and later moments such as “No Place For This” and “Down By The River,” the album moves through tension, reflection, and persistence. Guest vocalists Liliana Tani and Kelsey Grant add dimension to songs centered on connection, growth, and resilience, grounding the record in lived experience rather than resolution.
