Fresh off their fourth career Grammy nomination, progressive metal veterans Dream Theater have released a live performance video for “Night Terror,” nominated for Best Metal Performance. The track is taken from their 2025 album ‘Parasomnia’ and serves as a preview of the upcoming concert film and live album ‘Quarantième: Live à Paris’, recorded during the band’s sold-out 40th Anniversary Tour stop at Adidas Arena in Paris.
The release follows a landmark year for the band’s reunited lineup of James LaBrie, John Petrucci, John Myung, Jordan Rudess, and Mike Portnoy, which included a new studio album, a global headline tour, and renewed momentum across generations of fans. “We are truly humbled and grateful to receive our fourth Grammy nomination,” the band shared, reflecting on the personal significance of “Night Terror” and the continued recognition from the Recording Academy after four decades together.
