Bernie Leadon Drops “Too Late To Be Cool” Nashville Shot Video

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Bernie Leadon releases the official music video for “Too Late To Be Cool,” the title track from his recent solo album. Filmed in the heart of Nashville, the country rock pioneer delivers a sharp visual statement that matches the song’s confident stride.

The video places Leadon as the only figure moving forward in time while a younger crowd moves in reverse around him. The concept builds toward a high-speed scene with Leadon behind the wheel of a Ferrari on a closed racetrack, a bold metaphor that underlines the message. No matter the era, Bernie Leadon remains cool.

“‘Too Late To Be Cool,’ is like lukewarm, indifferent, detached, uncaring, about what’s going on around us. Don’t take everything that we’re told as necessarily being true or accurate. Think for yourself, form your own opinion, and take no sh*t. But you can still be a nice guy,” says Leadon.

The GRAMMY Award winner continues a strong return following a 20-year hiatus. The founding Eagles member’s solo album earned coverage from Variety, Rolling Stone, Los Angeles Times, No Depression, Billboard, American Songwriter, MOJO, Ultimate Classic Rock, and Guitar Player. Recent appearances include performances with Trisha Yearwood and James Taylor at the Country Music Hall of Fame, a headlining set at AMERICANAFEST, and nationwide radio conversations that spotlight his enduring influence.
