Henry Diltz, the photographer behind more than 250 album covers and the official lensman at Woodstock 1969, is taking his stories on the road with a 2026 edition of his “Behind the Lens” tour. The slide show and storytelling experience will spotlight the images that shaped music history, drawing from decades of work with artists including the Eagles, Crosby Stills & Nash, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell and Linda Ronstadt. From iconic covers like The Doors’ Morrison Hotel and James Taylor’s Sweet Baby James to candid Laurel Canyon moments, Diltz’s presentation offers a first-hand account of rock’s golden era.
