Grammy award-winning soul visionary Raphael Saadiq returns to Los Angeles for a one-night-only performance at the legendary Blue Note Cafe on March 3. The evening features two showings at 7:30 PM PT and 9:00 PM PT. Tickets go on sale at 10 AM PT on Monday, February 23 via the Blue Note website.
The performance spotlights Saadiq’s celebrated career, including a live rendition of “I Lied to You” from the record-breaking film SINNERS. The Oscar-nominated track recently earned Outstanding Original Song honors at the SCL Awards and the Black Reel Awards. Saadiq is also set to receive the Guild of Music Supervisors 2026 ICON Award for his expansive contributions to music and film.
Across the night, Saadiq revisits classics from his Tony Toni Tone era alongside highlights from his acclaimed solo catalogue. The set moves through more than three decades of songwriting, production and performance, blending signature hits with deep cuts and select covers that reflect his wide-ranging influences. The catalogue runs deep and the musicianship remains razor sharp.
The Blue Note appearance caps a prolific season that includes the sold-out No Bandwidth tour and the launch of the Raphael Saadiq Vinyl Club, which offers exclusive quarterly releases such as his 2004 vintage soul gem ‘Ray Ray.’ This is an up-close evening with one of modern soul’s defining architects, delivered in a room built for nuance and power.
