South Milan cowpunk trio MaveriX return at full throttle with new single “MaveriX Radio.” The track surges on melodic punk drive and country bite, fusing speed, grit and barroom swagger into one sharp strike. It hits fast and stays loud. This is a band locking into its own frequency and pushing the signal into the red.
“MaveriX Radio” tears through fake smiles and plastic poses with breakneck riffs and shout-along hooks. The rallying cry of “HEY HO! LET’S GO!” detonates at the center, built for sweat-soaked floors and packed rooms. The energy is immediate and physical. It demands movement. It commands volume.
The single builds on the momentum of debut album ‘COWPUNK!,’ released via Rocketman Records, which drew strong acclaim across European webzines and fanzines. MaveriX formed in South Milan with Nicc, Drago and Teo, seasoned players who moved quickly and carved out a presence in just two years. Their sound earned the tag “the European Social Distortion” and the label fits the charge.
A new EP lands this March, launching an extensive European tour that rolls into June with a major slot at Switzerland’s Summerside Festival alongside Helloween, P.O.D. and Billy Talent. MaveriX move with speed and purpose. “MaveriX Radio” flips the dial and kicks the door wide open.
