Independent singer and songwriter Chloe Trujillo sets her sights on the release of her new solo EP ‘REBIRTH’ with the unveiling of the final video for “Lies.” The haunting, sonically heavy track blends metal intensity with subtle Middle Eastern textures, underscoring Chloe’s evolving artistic vision. As the last visual from the collection, “Lies” captures the EP’s central themes of transformation and spiritual awakening.
Chloe describes “Lies” as a meditation on self-liberation, exploring the process of shedding ego, limiting beliefs, and outdated identities to access deeper truth. Directed alongside producer Alejandro Ordonez and Raubtier Productions, the video centers on a ritualistic fire scene that amplifies the song’s message. Native dancers Ba’ac Garcia and M. Baaker appear in the clip, grounding the visual in authenticity and symbolism.
The track follows the EP’s first single, “As the Sky is Falling Down,” a soulfully expressive metal anthem propelled by ominous guitar and a trudging groove.
