Pop-Rock Powerhouse LØLØ Drops Razor-Sharp New Single “the punisher” Ahead of Sophomore Album

LØLØ has released “the punisher,” the latest single from her forthcoming sophomore album ‘god forbid a girl spits out her feelings,’ arriving April 17 via Fearless Records. The track is out now, and it is one of her sharpest releases yet, a song about the self-destructive ritual of stalking an ex online and finding yourself oddly addicted to the pain it causes.

LØLØ is direct about where it came from: “I couldn’t understand why I felt addicted to punishing myself. It was almost like some part of me weirdly enjoyed it.” That kind of unflinching honesty is the engine driving the entire album. Where her debut wrestled with numbing emotions out, this record leans into every messy, inconvenient, intrusive thought in real time. “The punisher” sits alongside previously released fan favorites “the devil wears converse,” “american zombie,” and “me with no shirt on” in building out one of the most confessional records in modern pop-rock.

Kerrang! called her “one of the most exciting new rock stars on the planet,” and the 13-track album looks built to back that up. Stripped back sonically but amplified in storytelling, ‘god forbid a girl spits out her feelings’ sharpens everything that made LØLØ’s debut compelling and pushes it further. With over 150 million global streams and high-profile collaborations with Simple Plan and Maggie Lindemann already behind her, she arrives at this record with real credibility and a devoted audience ready for it.

A headline tour across Europe and the UK runs from April 25 in Vienna through May 13 in Birmingham, hitting Hamburg, Berlin, Paris, London, Leeds, Glasgow, and Manchester along the way. LØLØ then returns to the Warped Tour for stops in Washington D.C., Long Beach, Montreal, and Mexico City through the summer.

April 17 cannot come soon enough.
