Two artists from opposite sides of the world found common ground in deep roots reggae, and the result is worth hearing. Swedish vocalist Anayah Roots Levi and Costa Rican producer, songwriter, and sound engineer Costa Rebel have released “Jah Give The Power,” their debut collaboration, out now on all platforms. Built on warm analog basslines, prayerful vocal harmonies, and lyrics rooted in faith and rising consciousness, the track sits firmly in the foundation roots tradition while carrying a modern conscious edge.
The song grew from online sessions across continents, crafted with the shared love of the music driving every step. “This song is a prayer, for the ones rising, for the ones holding the line,” says Anayah Roots Levi. “Costa and I met on the vibration. Jah gave the power, we just carried it.” The track delivers on that promise, warm, spacious, and spiritually grounded in a way that feels genuinely lived-in rather than performed.
Anayah Roots Levi has built a growing presence on European reggae stages with soulful, conscious roots music that bridges traditional foundation with modern production. Costa Rebel brings serious credentials, certified by Avid and Berklee College of Music, with collaborations spanning Capleton, Lutan Fyah, Queen Omega, Cedric Myton, and many more. Together, they’ve made something that holds up on radio, on festival grounds, and everywhere in between.
