Two of rock’s most distinct and enduring voices are hitting the road together, and the pairing makes more sense than it might first appear.
The Psychedelic Furs and Living Colour have announced a 23-date summer co-headlining tour launching July 31 in Park City, Utah and closing September 6 in Miami Beach. The run covers the Midwest, Northeast and South with notable stops at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York, MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, the Riviera Theatre in Chicago and The Anthem in Washington, D.C. Fan presale is available now with password FURS2026, with general on-sale Friday, May 8 at 10 a.m. local time.
The Psychedelic Furs have remained a consistent live force, known for moody new wave classics like “Pretty in Pink,” “Love My Way” and “Heartbreak Beat,” and their 2020 album ‘Made of Rain,’ their eighth studio record, was widely praised as a strong return to form. Frontman Richard Butler has kept the creative energy sharp across decades of touring and writing, and the band continues to draw from that catalog with real conviction on stage.
Living Colour spent 2025 celebrating their 40th anniversary with live dates on both sides of the Atlantic, and also took a significant moment to induct their hero George Clinton into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, performing “Cosmic Slop” to open the ceremony. A follow-up to 2017’s ‘Shade’ is in progress, and guitarist Vernon Reid released his solo album ‘Hoodoo Telemetry’ last fall. Singer Corey Glover has also been active on the road, opening acoustic shows for Soul Asylum. The band’s genre-blending heavy rock, funk and political edge remains as sharp as ever.
