Jamie Fine Begins New Chapter With “Wait For Forever” and Major Tour Dates, Including Fall Run With Shawn Desman

Chart topping singer/songwriter Jamie Fine has built and continues to grow a devout fanbase with her infectious chart-topping singles, fun live shows, and a personality that can light up any room. Fresh off the heels of her collaboration with Shawn Desman on their pop hit “Body,” she is back with brand new single “Wait For Forever,” an ode to her fiance and their relationship. This single marks an exciting new chapter for her as an independent artist releasing new music and an upcoming album, her first under her new deal with ADA.

Recently engaged, Jamie explores the concept of what forever can mean on “Wait For Forever.” She explains,  “The concept of forever has always been overwhelming to me, not always understanding how one person could be your “forever” when we’re constantly growing and changing; learning new things and meeting new people. But in this relationship, I learned that “forever” doesn’t need to look the same throughout the entirety of a relationship. ‘wait for forever’ is a song about giving my partner a chance to go through what I got to go through before meeting her – finding herself. And reminding both of us that that doesn’t need to be scary – it can be normal. It’s about me letting her go if ever she needs me to, and that I’ll be here waiting for her, forever, when she’s ready to come back – that I’m certain about us, even if she’s ever not.”

Jamie is known for her fun-loving and witty nature, drawing fans in to create a strong and ever-growing community. From sharing her life through her music and online, Jamie’s openness is magnetic. Her sense of humor has people talking – most recently where she attended the PWHL Ottawa Chargers vs Minnesota Frost championship game, where she and her fiance Victoria channeled Justin and Hailey Bieber’s fashion from the Toronto Maple Leafs playoffs game last month. She is also set to perform at the upcoming PWHL draft event in Ottawa on June 23rd.

Jamie recently checked off a bucket list show, having performed an incredible set at WeHo Pride in Los Angeles this past weeknd. On top of readying a new album for release, Jamie has a number of upcoming tour dates over the coming months including festival appearances at Northern Lights Festival in Sudbury, Edmonton Pride and PEI’s Sommo Festival in Cavendish. She has also recently announced that she will be on road this fall as a special guest on Shawn Desman’s upcoming tour. See below for a full list of tour dates.

Ottawa-born singer/songwriter Jamie Fine uses her music to inspire audiences to explore emotions we all feel but often struggle to express—ranging from anger and isolation to joy and connection. Her unique ability to convey intense emotion is her superpower. For Jamie, music is deeply personal: “I write music for me—it’s cathartic. It helps me process my experiences.” Releasing music, she admits, feels vulnerable: “The safest place in the world is in my head. Sharing my music is like opening that space to others, aiming to create a safe place for them to explore their own emotions.” Jamie values unfiltered, honest conversations with family, friends, and her audience: “Real connections feed my soul like writing and performing.” Time with loved ones keeps her grounded. A four-time Juno nominee, Jamie’s music has over 100 million global streams. Her hit single “If Anything’s Left” reached Platinum status in Canada and Double-Platinum in South Africa. With nearly 1.5 million followers worldwide, fans are drawn to her energetic personality, quirky humor, and openness. As her audience grows, Jamie’s goal remains to create inclusive, emotional spaces through her music.
