LANY Bring ‘Soft’ To Life On The “Soft World Tour” Across Global Arenas

Multi-platinum indie-pop band LANY have announced the 2026 “Soft World Tour,” bringing the songs from their acclaimed album ‘Soft’ to stages across the US, Canada, Mexico, the UK, and Europe. The ten-track release is now out, and its widescreen emotion translates naturally to rooms built for shared moments, from Los Angeles’s Intuit Dome to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and London’s OVO Arena Wembley.

Across 38 dates, the tour highlights LANY’s gift for scale and closeness, with frontman Paul Klein guiding each night through a carefully shaped flow of songs. The shows move with intention, rising from hushed verses to full-voice choruses, wrapped in neon-lit visuals and immersive production that turns the room into a living extension of ‘Soft’. Shinedown has released the official music video for their chart-topping and genre-defying song “Three Six Five,” featuring footage from their massive Dance, Kid, Dance Tour as well as behind-the-scenes moments of life on the road. Shot and edited by Carter Louthian, the video serves as a testament to the power of Shinedown’s fanbase, capturing fans singing, laughing, and crying alongside the band during packed shows including their sold-out Madison Square Garden debut and personal highlights of the band sharing the tour with their families. The music video celebrates the song’s incredible year, hitting Top 20 at Top 40 radio, No. 1 at alternative radio, charting Top 10 at Hot AC and AC, and No. 16 at active rock.

Each night on tour, frontman Brent Smith would ask the audience to raise their hands if they lost someone no longer on this planet and think about them every single day wishing they had one more minute, with the band turning on house lights to reveal more than half the audience raising their hands during this emotional moment. A video of this exact moment recently posted on socials has nearly 3 million views and thousands of comments filled with stories of loved ones lost, similar to the reaction to the animated music video where the comment section overflowed with stories of grief and resilience. This month has been packed for Shinedown as they recently made their Grand Ole Opry debut and received a standing ovation for their performance after being introduced by 17-year Opry member Carrie Underwood, who admitted she’s been a big fan since 2004, with the band performing “A Symptom of Being Human,” “Three Six Five,” and surprising the audience with the debut of new song “Searchlight.”

Post-Hardcore Outfit Excide Unleashes “Call Box” From New Album ‘Bastard Hymns’

Excide has released “Call Box,” the latest single from their second album ‘Bastard Hymns,’ out now via SharpTone Records. Tyler Washington, Gill Gonzalez, Gage Lanza, Caleb Hogue, and Jacob Paris crafted the track as the “click” moment for the record, with Washington explaining it most coherently synthesized every component of their desired outcome and became the stencil they worked backwards from during pre-production. The song features Cast Iron Hike grooves in the verses, a fuzzy Queens of the Stone Age bridge, and a massive ending nodding to Failure, representing Excide at its purest and best form to date as Washington’s personal declaration of gratitude and defiance to his influences.

‘Bastard Hymns’ marks the logical next step from the band’s debut ‘Deliberate Revolver,’ created without guidelines or barriers after accomplishing what they set out to do on the first record. Sonically inspired by late ’90s post-hardcore bands like Cast Iron Hike and Snapcase while siphoning melody and textural elements from Quicksand and Cave In, the band shifted gears to take influence from Queens of the Stone Age, Soundgarden, and Failure, pushing the sonic needle into uncharted territory with Austin Coupe’s co-writing and production. The result is a fuzzy, rocky, groovy, angry record seeped in the woes of growing up in a hillbilly hellscape and living to tell the tale. Since their 2020 debut and 2022’s ‘Deliberate Revolver,’ which caught the attention of Brooklyn Vegan and Revolver, Excide signed with SharpTone Records and released the 2024 two-pack Humdinger, with Stereogum raving both tracks “go hard” and NO ECHO marveling at the band’s dynamic blend of ’90s-flavored hardcore and propulsive post-hardcore rhythms.

Peaches returns with the electrifying protest anthem “Not In Your Mouth None Of Your Business,” a pulsing punk dance anthem recorded with producer The Squirt Deluxe in Berlin that serves as an energizing rallying chant for bodily autonomy. The iconic musician, producer, director, and performance artist has announced her No Lube So Rude 2026 tour, kicking off February 20 in Miami for 27 North American dates with support from Model/Actriz, Cortisa Star, and more to be announced. The Guardian has praised her “bravura” live performances as “a masterclass in gleeful subversion,” and this tour promises to deliver exactly that intensity and fearless artistic vision.

Peaches has partnered with PLUS1 so that one dollar from every ticket sold supports the Trans Justice Funding Project and their work funding trans-led grassroots organizations in the US and US Territories. VIP presale begins October 15 with general on-sale October 17. The single marks the first taste of her first album in over 10 years, ‘No Lube So Rude,’ set for release in 2026. Peaches explains that when the world is friction, lube becomes a necessity, turning that friction into pleasure, power, and pride, and she wants people to understand they can still have a voice no matter who they are or what the world says about them.

Born Merrill Nisker, Peaches first catapulted to international stardom with her 2000 debut ‘The Teaches of Peaches,’ which introduced her sexually transgressive and fiercely assertive stage persona through the ubiquitous lead single “Fuck the Pain Away.” Them Magazine noted that 20 years after that debut, the world is still catching up with the artist’s brash, irreverent, and sexually self-assured life philosophy. Produced by Skinner himself, ‘Running With Scissors’ marks a significant creative step forward, expanding his confessional songwriting into unpredictable yet heartfelt soundscapes that push further into genre-blending territory while maintaining his trademark emotional honesty.
